Placido Russo

Ladd's uncle, and the don of the Russo family. Placido is very brash and will not tolerate any error from his thugs, though he seems to genuinely care for his grandchild Ricardo. After Ladd leaves the family, he begins to lose the power he once had.
Later in the novels he becomes a semi-immortal from drinking the incomplete elixir.
